Easily worth the extra ££
Good value product. Tested it in freestanding cassette players, it had a good punchy sound and a good sound level. A vastly superior experience to one of the common, cheaper unbranded models on ebay I bought first (in a two-pack, and both were just as bad). It has a different head to the unbranded model. The biggest weakness is that its gear mechanism makes a continuous low rattle, same as in the unbranded model, though this was mostly muffled in a cassette deck with a good lid closure. IOMAX Adaptor.
The excellent radio in my Rover 75 car is a cassette type. I didn't want to change it; the IOMAX adaptor is really the only one to choose; I can play all my MP3 / iPhone / iPod music through it - the sound quality is faultless. Amazing bit of kit
I was tired of listening to the same tape cassettes in my old Golf. Haven’t got a clue how this thing works , but I now have endless new options available via my iPod , with no loss of sound quality👍

Good quality item
Does what it aims to - play MP3 players, mobile phone, CD players through your car cassette player. Sound quality is pretty good, although maybe not quite as good as the Philips adaptor I had before. One thing to point out though. When I tried it first - inserted with the logo side up - the sound quality was rubbish and tinny. Eventually, I sussed that you can rethread the cable to run the opposite way and insert the adaptor with the logo side downwards. It worked perfectly then.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Still going strong after a year + !
Still producing great sound after over a year of constant use. I had the Sony version before this and that only lasted a month before breaking.
