Quiet, efficient, and sturdy
Love my juicer. Easy to use and clean, does a great job extracting the juice. It runs quietly and extracts the juice quickly. Wish that there was a handy way to store all the pieces, but I am making due with putting the items that aren’t used very often in a plastic bin. Also, I have not been using the strainer that came with it as it seems to clog and spill a lot fo juice onto the counter. Perhaps I am doing something wrong.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Works pretty well. Still no brass ring.
I've used this machine to juice beet leaves, beets themselves and carrots. I'm grateful that the pulp and juice are largely separated from each other. However, carrot chunks did not separate all that well from the juice. In fact, I estimate that about half the volume of "juice" was actually chunks of carrot. I might go back to pre-extracting the vegetables I put through the Omega by passing them through my Rival (tm) meat grinder first. Besides, doing that will reduce the size of the material being fed so extraction should improve. My previous juicer was an Oster. It used a micro abrasive screen and whirled fast. Pulp was slung into the side chambers of the Oster where it accumulated until the machine had to be taken apart to clean. This was a time-consuming nuisance so the Omega is a HUGE improvement.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Wonderful!
I’ve only used it once so far. It is slow like others have said, but not that bad. Not as long as I had imagined after reading reviews before ordering. I didn’t realize though how much fruit it takes to get a glass of juice. Five small oranges made 2 very small glasses of juice. It was delicious though! I also used it for celery with the same result. Both produced a lot of pulp, which I ran back through the machine at least three times to really press all the juice out. This was a bit messy, but worth the effort. I kept the pulp to add to smoothies I will make within the next couple of days. The machine is heavy duty, very quiet, and super easy to assemble, disassemble and clean! It comes with lots of plastic parts so I purchased a basket in which to store them. This makes for easy retrieval from the cupboard where I store it all. I’m happy to have invested in this product! I haven’t found any negatives yet.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Easy and Thorough

This is the "best" juicer?
A lot of preparation time. Makes a mess. Has 9 parts to clean, 12 if you include the knife, cutting board, and countertop. The design of the product is poorly thought out as well. The juice and waste containers are small and you have to continuously empty before you finish juicing a couple of glasses of juice. Strainer catches a lot of pulp that you would think would be filtered out in the grinding process, and also has to be emptied constantly, almost twice as much as the waste and juice containers. I am new to juicing and did a lot of research before I bought anything. This one was supposed to be the best buy and product on the market. I got a great deal on a brand new one off of EBay from a local seller. I bought it and I just don't see how this juicer is the best rated juicer because it took forever and was kind of frustrating. I'm still going to give juicing a shot, but I am going to try another route.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This Omega expells leafy fiber very well and this one is not a centrifugal juicer! I recommend!
I give this Omega juicer a high rating of 5 stars. This Omega juicer does very well with both root vegetables as well as leafy greens. I have gone from using a Champion brand juicer to the Omega brand juicer. I have been a Champion guy for decades and the champion juicer is very good but I am now using the Omega. While the Champion is very fast with roots like carrots and beets the champion has a tendency to clog up with celery fiber and the champion gets bogged down seriously if you try to juice wheat grass. The Omega is easier to clean up after and there is no oxygenation of the juice as it does not spin fast. It is not as fast as the champion juicer on carrots but clean up is a breeze. I only juice less than a quart of juice per day and the cleanup is so fast that I reach for this juicer over the big Champion. Due to the fact I like to throw in beet tops from my garden along with the carrots and because the Omega can expel the leaf fiber better than the Champion I am loving the Omega. This is my second Omega. The machine is durable and it lasts but I dropped my first machine on a concrete floor and it broke the carry handle. It still worked even after that abuse. I recommend this juicer. Do not buy the Omega centrifugal as the high speed disk excessively oxygenates the juice! I do not like the Omegas that are centrifugal juicers! This Omega is not a centrifugal juicer. I give this one 5 stars.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Worth every penny
Highly Efficient - squeezes almost to the last drop , quiet,easy to use breeze to clean . Absolutely recommend. I did some research before I purchase this one and now I get super nutrition high in enzymes green juice every time I use this machine, not like other high speed juicer I use to use . Super buy, better than expected
Day one of using this juicer and I am in love. This has to be the quietest juicer on the market. Not only is it quiet, the pulp is super dry, the parts are easy to clean and go together easily without questioning "did I do it right?". I got 14oz of juice from just 2 fist sized apples. Going to the store now to buy my weekly supplies for making a bunch of different juices. It will stay on the counter and be used everyday. It also comes with different nozzles to make pastas and nut butters. Who knew that being healthy could be so easy. The shoot is small so you have to cut up the fruits and veggies but I have read that it actually helps the machines get more of the juices out. Haven't used it yet
How is it upgraded? Does the screen not get overloaded as soon? Is it harder to break? Haven't used it yet, bought it as a second back-up. What NOT to do: Try to juice sweet potatoes, or not cut the ends off lemons and limes. I have made peanut butter with the blank. and recently, coconut cream with the juice cup. You'll want to make sure to remove all the brown shell, as it imparts a subtle smell/taste. Turned out very well. Made coconut ice cream using the cream and a can of coconut milk. Next time I might just use the coconut water instead of canned coconut milk. And add the juice and pulp from a lime.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excelent Mastication Juicer/Mincer!
This is a Great machine. So easy to use and clean too! I've used it so far for Juicing veggies and apples and, mincing carrots. I use it nearly Every day. It sits Pretty in my counter top, all assembled. I look forward to using it because it turns out great juice with all that I've challenged it with thus far! Kale, Beets, Ginger root, Parsley, Spinach, Frozen Blueberries for desserts. Carrots are a favorite, especially with Apple, Ginger Root and Spinach! I haven't yet purchased a Recipe book to use with it, but will do so soon. In the meantime, It's handling my every day foods just Ideally!
