Despite the relatively hard brake pad material, our Redstuff covering achieves a very high friction value (0.5) and thus ensures more braking force and faster delays in faster and heavier vehicles (> = 220 hp) without excessive use of the brake disc. Excellent braking performance is achieved even at cold brake, but of course it improves increasingly (progressive) with increasing temperature of the brake pads. As with Allen hard materials, the 'sanding procedure' is extended to approx. 1500km. The EBC Redstuff brake pad has a very low brake dust volume and should be driven on both axes in the course of an optimal brake balance.
