Useful but beware if limitations
I've just installed 2 of these. They're very easy to install and are setup and working in minutes. They're being used to hold open thoroughfare firedoors in a rugby club as we try to improve the fire safety (previously these doors were hooked back or wedged open, neither of which are good safety solutions). They work well and a simple to use. The only issue we have is with false triggering. There's a school holiday club here this week. The sustained yells, squeals and screams of the kids is enough to trigger release, even at its lowest sensitivity setting. Give both units are within feet of the fire sounders, it would be useful to have a reduced sensitivity setting (dip-switches on the rear) beyond what is adjustable on the front. Sort of ranges setting. Irrespective of functionality, prices on eBay are the best around!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
