I bought my Father a Class 3 Veleco Faster 1000w from the Velobike Ebay shop (extremebulbs_com) What caught our eye in particular was the smart stylish looks, a cross between a quad bike and scooter. All in all, a great looking scooter that performs well, It's easy to use and has plenty of storage space for shopping, plenty of bright lighting, comfortable adjustable seat, two keys and was a reasonable price. A couple of negative points is that the suspension is not full, it's front and rear as it's attached to the chassis and not independently to each wheel, which means on uneven ground one front wheel can be clear of the ground (see Pic) which is a little concerning as the front is the wheels that steer the scooter and it might compromise the stability. The other down point is that it has a busy servicing program, stated in the handbook, scheduled at 3/6/9/12/18 and 21 months but doesn't state distance, surely this is excessive and potentially costly.Read full review

Its not as robust as my other scooter (TGA) The seat backrest is uncomfortable for me ..The brake lock is dificult to engage ..Im not keen on the throttle and im not used to having to brake ...But i havnt had it long yet and im sure i will get used to it ...Love the speed it goes but a bit dangerous on my narrow bendy road...Im not sure how it will cope offroad with wet grass or mud ..Time will tell ...Overall it will be great for tha average user.. I visit gardens etc and always go off roading..

It is very good I had a 3 wheeled version before but the roads and pavements where I live are not too good and this one is more stable. It looks very good and it gets a lot of good comments. It is very powerful and out performs all the other scooters around. One thing I wish would happen that the law would change so mobility scooters could go more than 8 mph on the road. L Aram

the turning lock is rubbish My old scooter could turn in a 3 metre circle .I have to got back and forwards to get it round the back of my house to it's shed and charger. PS.i will keep the scooter, but up here in the borders i will need a canopy
