Small and discreet but it works sort of
After upgrading our old home modem to a new dual band router, I found that older laptops would only see the 2.4ghz bandwidth, by buying a couple of these I was able get them onto the 5ghz bandwidth, easy to set up, a quick tweak to value mode improved performance a little, it is a small device so unless you have your modem or acces point right next to your computer don’t expect a full 100% performance, I get 75% which is fine, excellent tech support from folk tech.

Instant improvement, and so small.
I was quite surprised at how well this dongle worked. It came with a mini disc to upload the driver for some reason, but I just plugged it into a spare USB socket, and I got an instant result, my Gbps jumping from just 10 to my providers 73. The disk that contained the driver was not required.

Generally a good gadget
Works very well when it does work - really good connection and very fast. Sadly it does several times just drop out and you have to disconnect it and then reconnect it. Generally after that it stays on.

Just perfect.
After installing the supplied driver, plugged in the usb device and started working straight away in an older Windows XP 32 bit machine. No problems since then. Works just as well with Windows 7, 8.1 and 10. Fits the bill.

Great little adapter.
This is not as small as the smallest nano-USB adapters, but still quite small and it supports modern WiFi standards. I was very pleasantly surprised to see that my Windows 10 PC recognised and enabled it in about 2 seconds flat! It just works. What else could one wish for?

Good speed
Does it well. Hitting 58Mbps - 70Mbps many times (not always though). Speed is good enough. My wire connection gave about 75Mbps so its good enough for me. Happy...
