ZEN decoders
DCD-Z218 1.1 amp decoder is really versatile as you can use it as a 21pin, 8pin or hard wired. I have found them to be very reliable and they respond very well even at very low speeds. A stay alive kit is also included and its minute size means you can find space for for it in most locos. I keep a spare one in my box so I can set up any new locos I purchase straight away.
