Basically this joycon is a con, it’s not licensed and only works connected to the switch, has no batteries and feels cheap and nasty. I wouldn’t get this, my son chose it as he is a Zelda fan and is seriously regretting it.

This controller is ONLY for use in HANDHELD mode. It says so on the box. You cannot unplug it and use it wirelessly. When used correctly, it works just as well as, if not better than, the Nintendo standard JoyCon. The D-pad is invaluable for classic gaming. The design is neat too, looks great paired with just about any right JoyCon but my orange one is a particularly nice match. Once more for the people at the back: HANDHELD ONLY. Failing to read the box is not a good reason to downrate a perfectly functional HANDHELD ONLY controller.

Didn't no it only works while in handheld mode only. No Bluetooth. Can't be used in a handheld controller.

It does exactly what it says in the description. Read information about what you buying and you won’t be disappointed. Works well without any problems. It feels a bit different than the original one because there is no battery in it. That’s all. Great product.
