We have 2 cars that require VW 507.00 specification engine oils. Mannol is a relatively new brand in the UK, but it certainly seems to tick all the relevant boxes for quality, and at this great online price, you can afford to do oil changes more regularly - so what's not to like? It also suits our petrol lawnmowers, and is much cheaper per litre than the simple SAE30 stuff recommended for them. Result!

I have been using Mannol oil for a few years now mainly for its value for money. I guess no big expensive TV campaigns to pay for. Like any oil you have to trust that it is the specification on the outside of the can. I change oil more frequently than manufacturer intervals as running older cars and havent noticed any issues running Mannol oils in Ford, Vauxhall and VW's except the savings over buying Castrol Edge.

i normally buy mannol but one time i brought some sainsburys own brand 5w 30 engine oil £24 for 4litres for skoda fabia 1.2 2003, was ok for a few weeks but then engine started to sound rattly and power decressed. so changed back to mannol 5w 30 and now engine performing better and sounding smoother again, so mannol for me is far supperior than super market oil and its cheaper online,i trust mannol in my engines
