Overpriced for the size of amp power.
It works like any other 18V battery, but runs out of power quicker than a 5amp version of course. I used it to cut out wooden plugs measuring 65mm in a 50mm plank. I had to finish the fifth plug off with another battery, as the 3amp one was flat, from full. Otherwise the 3amp is just a 'low powered' battery, So your better off in this case with a normal 5amp version. The 3amp is best suited to taking off wheel nuts, etc. ONLY I think, where run time isn't an issue but instant high power IS required. I won't be buying another one, I'll stick to the 5amp version.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
