Best I've found at killing algae
It turns the water milky for about a day depending how much you add. Since I last added it, I've not had to use it for a good year, that's how effective it is, but then I have a filter which has a UV lamp also, but this is good when the UV lamp is overwhelmed by summer days which cause algae blooms. Knowing the capacity of my pond and thinking this stuff would be safe as it boasts , I followed carefully the vague instructions even weighing with scales just under the recommended dose to be safe So far 6 hours and I've got a dead fish. Great product, really works
Each April when blanket weed appears on my pond, I pour into it half a tub of Blanket Answer dissolved in pond water. The pond turns milky. I run the waterfall pump 24/7 for a couple of days until the milkiness goes, then treat it with a double helping of sludge control and trickle water into the pond overnight to allow some of the toxic water to flow away.
