Great tool to have in the van or workshop. I've had it for a week and can't believe how useful it is. Plastics, wood, metal, cement board, rubber, it does the lot. Who needs a cord!
Ryobi continue to provide good alternatives to corded tool and this is another great example. These tools do just the same job as other versions but without the need for extension reels, trip hazzard power leads on the floor and in some cases, the danger of cutting through them. A little larger than some corded models, this power file is perfect for the job and surpasses my original mains file. Motor projection can be a slight problem at times but the plus points far outweigh any small niggles. Belt change is easy and dust extraction simple. If you find yorself using these One+ tools you may need to invest in a second or third battery, if you have more than one tool on the go. Light & Easy To Use!
Light & Easy To Use. I have 2 off 230vac Power Files when I need some power so I was looking for a cordless option for occasional use &/or away from mains power. This fits the bill well. It's lighter & smaller than the mains ones & of course is less powerful & revs much lower. That said it's very capable & being light it's easy to manoeuvre.
