Best Vacuum I've Ever Had!
I love this Bissell Air Ram. Light enough to pick up with one hand easily, swivels into tight spots, goes under most furniture. It is so convenient to have no cord to plug in and trip over. Does a great job sucking up pet hair. Not too noisy. My long hair wound around the brush bar and stopped it a couple of times, so I had to pull the hair off by hand. I don't think that will be a problem in the future, though. I think my old Hoover Wind Tunnel hadn't been picking up my hair for years because this Bissell Air Ram picked up enough to make a wig! I don't know how durable the plastic parts will be, but if I had to buy a new one every year I would. Seeing the dirt pile up in the clear bin is very satisfying and let's you know when to stop and empty. Emptying is easy. Lights on the machine tell you how much power is left on the battery. The headlights are bright enough to see under the bed. This machine makes vacuuming so easy your child could do it and think it was fun. great vacuum cleaner
i'm really happy with the Bissell AirRam. Because it's cordless, it's easy to grab and use for light to moderate cleaning. You don't have drag out your plug-in vaccum for most (floor-cleaning) tasks or grab a dust-buster and stoop over to vacuum up stuff on the floor. The vacuum sucks (that's good!) and is very maneuverable. The handle can lay flat, making it easy to get under furniture. Two LEDs in the front illuminate the path. I've been using it on rugs and bare floors (vinyl and wood), and it does a nice job. The design makes it easy to empty the debris collector thoroughly. The battery slides out of the vacuum for charging with a separate charger. It has four LEDs on top that let you know how much power remains, and a full charge provides several hours of use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Long lasting battery
I like the cleaning ability for this vacuum cleaner over the short time I have owned it. The process to empty the collection container is easy, but the method to clean the filter works well but is a pain in the a.. compared to other cleaners. Powerful lightweight cordless vacuum.
This is a powerful yet lightweight vacuum. It is very well-designed, recharges easily, very easy to empty. I am a senior with a bad back who can easily carry the vacuum up and down stairs. Most of my home is now hardwood floors so this vacuum is perfect for the carpet in the bedrooms and family room. It is particularly nice for a senior to have a cordless vacuum, minimizing the tripping hazard of a cord and also making it so much easier not having to unplug and re-plug it in in every room. Very convenient!
I used to have a cannister vacuum. Now I have this stick vacuum and what a difference! I don't have to pull that heavy cannister behind me anymore and there is no cord to trip over. I vacuumed the whole house in half the time. Cleaning the dust container is easy as it has a sort of slide thing so you don't have to touch the dirt. Delighted!
This vacuum is exactly what I expected and wanted, and I am delighted with it. It vacuumed my entire 1200 Square foot house with battery power to spare, so I vacuumed a few more of my throw rugs and nastier mats, too. I have two cats and messy grandchildren, who prepared the floors and rugs well for the initial experiment, and it was a success. The dirt canister is very easy to insert and remove and clean out, and the battery is similarly easy to charge (in 3 hours!) and remove and replace, too. The vac weighs only 8 lbs., which is essential for me and my sore arms, and the carry handles are also easy and convenient. It has a beater bar which seems to work well, and can be removed, again easily for hardwood floors. It does not have accessories, which I knew, and while I might miss my crevice tool for corners, the vac gets dirt in the corners better than I expected. All in all, perfect for me!
