Amazing pedals, light and smooth in use, worth the money.
Bearings are smooth, engaging and disengaging is nice and easy, with no issues. What more can you expect from Shimano's second placed tier? Mechanically identical to Dura Ace (Shimano's top tier and vastly more expensive), the only real difference is the slight weight gain, due to less exotic materials used in the manufacturing of the pedals.

Great pedals from Shimano
Moved from r550s when upgrading the Groupset. These Ultegra pedals seem stiffer and look great. Sadly cannot afford the rest of the r8000 Gset. Bearings smooth and silent.

Now using Ultegra pedals on both my bikes. Tried after years on Keos and found them easier to use and marginally lighter that the Keo Classics they replaced. Keos still a class act though.
