At last a PV Battery Tester
I have 2 x 110amph leisure batteries connected to a solar panel & pwm regulator. This little gizmo connects to the battery. With a Watt Meter connected to the input of the Solar Regulator I can see the volts , amps, watts coming in to the regulator. Sometimes that is 29v. That would fry your battery. With this I can now see the volts going into the Battery at any given time. So I now know the regulator is doing its job of dropping the voltage down to the correct level so as not to overcharge the battery. It also tells me the state of charge of the batteries. So now I know my 5 Year old batteries are 100%. It then tells me the power in the batteries, which mine reads 139. I take that as 139 amps.
