I love the size for every day use and convenience. I find that the volume control button is too small and difficult to find the up or down end of the button. Good bang for buck.
New Kindle is more about getting used to. I take lots of pictures. I'll need a memory chip for video of any size It's best to share and delete stuff. I love the resolution. The picture is more clear than my other Kindle. It has about the same memory, or close. I like the speed it runs at. It operates opposite of my previous model. It works well for left handers or ambidextrous. I got a beautiful blue case for it. The size is perfect for me to carry in my hip pocket, often, as long as I don't sit. I can remove it before sitting or something rhyming, before pant removal. It's OK for the money
It doesn't hold a charge long, nor like other tablets. But if you want it for reading, or small jobs as opposed to your phone or laptop, it's good. Make sure to get a cover. It's not that fast either. But it will do for movies in bed or on a plane, and light browsing or reading. The other thing, when shopping for it, take a very clear photo of the back for info on model #, etc. It's hard to read, so you may need a photo you can blow up to read. Not Quite the iPad, but Works For Me
I was on the fence on getting another amazon tablet versus pure android as the only thing I was using my previous fire was playing my music files at bedtime. But I got a good deal on this one, and now I can play a few games I had to abandon, plus browse the web in a pinch l. The issues I had: I had to reformat my sd card so it would recognize it, and that the "find" function on the music app doesn't find any files.
