Good purchase to save $10 rental fee from CenturyLink!
Product arrived on time and as described. Worked great just plugging it in and following online CenturyLink instructions. We have slow antiquated internet service from CenturyLink and wanted to stop paying the $10 rental fee each month so this was our best choice. I do notice a delay with the modem when downloading but can't tell if it is just our slow speed or the modem. I did have CenturyLink check the settings and they said they corrected a few. It didn't make a difference in the delay. The modem/router works wells once the download starts and the wifi coverage seems to be a lot better than our old one.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

The modem works pretty good. Decent modem, easy setup.
Modem works perfectly, bought it to replace a little cheap non-CenturyLink modem I had running that overheated and died. Automatically configured itself within a few minutes of hooking up the DSL line, no fiddling with VPI/VCI numbers or login info or whatnot which was nice as the previous $3 dollar AT&T thrift store modem took a good bit of configuring to get working with CenturyLink . Has a built-in wireless router but I can't vouch for the reliability of that seeing as I'm using a standalone wifi router and have it turned off on the modem, nice to know I have a backup option if my router ever goes out, though. Easy to connect and works like a champ!
Received the modem ahead of schedule and just hooked it up last night. Connecting to CenturyLink was a breeze as was connecting all of my wireless devices which included a laptop, cell phone, printer, several Rokus and an Alexa and Google dot. This modem is replacing an older Netgear modem which was requiring me to reboot it more and more frequently. Time will tell whether this modem has similar issues. The best part was the ease of connecting to CenturyLink. I had originally purchased a new Motorola modem that said it was compatible. It was not. So after a little research, this modem kept coming up as a good selection. Good modem/router for DSL
If you are stuck with older DSL internet source, this modem works pretty well. I am now getting about 13 mbps on 12mbps service. I installed this modem, and after reading some hints and reviews, also replaced the cable from modem to PC with a CAT 5 category ethernet cable. Internet connection seems much faster now.
