Worked well for 7 weeks then turned to junk
I thought this was the best can opener we have ever had. It was it was so easy to use, very little force needed and opened every type of can. Then a few days ago it stopped working and now makes a terrible grinding sound. The lower cogs that bite into the can and hold it in place no longer work. It doesn't seem repairable so is virtually useless. In a survival situation it could be used to open a can but would take a few minutes. Basically, press down to cut into can lid, move it a small amount, and repeat. Better than nothing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
