    Neat and efficient soldering iron.

    This rechargeable soldering iron is excellent for working on model railways where you often need to do intermittent jobs in inaccessible locations. The tip warms up quickly and the light illuminates the joint you are trying to solder well. The shape of the tool means you can safely rest it on a workbench without needing a stand while it cools off. Charging is easy using any USB charger with an indicator that changes colour when fully charged. For the jobs I have used it for so far it has had plenty of power and it hasn’t gone flat on me yet. The pushbutton to activate the tip also slides to lock it off. The endcap holds the switch in the off position so it shouldn’t turn itself on in your bag. The light is only on when the tip is heating. It would be nice if it stayed on for a few seconds after you release the switch.

    It works fine, but just to expensive. The quality is not all that good, cheap plastic. I am sure if it dropped from a little bit of a height, it would fall apart.
