A Little bit of 1965, In 2021
I have owned Fender guitars since 1965. This one is a real through-back to that era. It is built beautifully and is finished to perfection! I am a huge fan of the Mexico built Fenders. They seem to be more in line with what Leo was shooting for than the high-priced American built guitars. My first new Tele, a 1965 model, cost me $265.00 and a whopping $299.00 for a new 1964 Deluxe Reverb. This 75th Anniversary model brings me right back to 1965! It has all of the heft and feel of that first Telecaster, pure romance and I think Leo would love it!
