The Twilight Zone: Complete Series Seasons 1 2 3 4 5 on DVDE (25 disks) is a great product.
The series comes in one sturdy plastic box. The DVDs are held in place by page-like plastic pieces that turn like pages in a book. The DVDs are properly labelled on one side of the disks. Picture quality is superior, and the episodes even have the show's previews of the next episode, and even advertisements Rod Serling did for the show; where these segments are never shown today on TV airings of the show. Great value, good quality, but the great "extras" are missing!
I would give this collection four or even five stars, had it included the commentaries and extras from the now out-of-print Image Entertainment collection of a few years back. I have the first two volumes of the old set and have decided to keep them because of the extra material. the video and sound quality are great and I'm glad that the archivists at CBS went back to the original film negatives for the restorations. Go for it if you like vintage horror TV!!
I recall bits and pieces of this scary series from TV when I was a kid. It is highly enjoyable for me to see these episodes now and to be able to put the memories together again. This was another great TV series of that era (early 1960s) and it is interesting to see some of the actors in early roles in their careers. Also the picture quality in this DVD set is a great improvement from when the episodes were broadcast on our original TV sets. Lots of fun to watch and I would recommend this for anyone interested in vintage crime/horror TV.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Love the Twilight Zone
I just received the Twilight Zone in the mail. It was well packaged and everything looked good. There was only one thing that was wrong,the outer sleeve was torn a little bit but not a big deal. I'm going in order in watching them and so far everything is fine and the picture quality is great and the sound is very good. The Twilight Zone brings back great memories for me growing up. Great deal and proper presentation
This DVD set is both affordable and satisfying for fans of the series. You get all 5 seasons of the show in chronological order, unlike other releases. The episodes are rendered in excellent quality, with their proper, original intros intact. They include the original, nostalgic CBS logos and promo spots. It's like viewing the series as it was initially broadcast in the 50's and 60's. Since the series is in 4:3 ratio, B&W with mono sound, the quality is top notch for DVD and you really don't need to upgrade to Blu-Ray. The case it comes in is surprisingly sturdy and functional, unlike similar TV series cases of that size. As for the show itself, it is still as enthralling as it ever was. There's never been anything quite like it before or since. This set showcases an important historical era in classic television and I am enormously satisfied with my purchase.

A fun trip to another television era!
Episodes (I'm through first 2 seasons) are good quality. A few of Rod Serling's commentaries at end of episodes are audio only with no video. The case holding the set needs to be handled with care as the sections come apart, but is organized well. You just have to handle them carefully and re-assemble. Overall I am enjoying seeing the creative genius of Rod Serling and seeing some actors before they became famous. Credits at the end of each episode are not detailed from this era and usually only list 3 or 4 main actors who then can be researched on IMDB. A very young Ron Howard was in an early episode with a small talking part. A nice trip down memory lane to a ground breaking science fiction television series.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
