Great Value Gigabit Switch
This was the cheapest 1Gbps switch I could find that was manufactured by a known brand. I only use it in a basic home setup so I haven't tested it as extensively as some people might but to me it's performance seems very good - the 6 devices I have connected all show a 1Gbps connection with no drop outs.
