    And I thought the smaller versions were good.......

    I have examples of Hornby's previous 4-wheeled Sentinel diesel shunters and really like them, so I decided to add this 6-wheeled version. This one is even more impressive - not just because its larger size gives it greater presence and the red side rods and cranks are a joy to watch revolving, but because the quality has also gone up a notch - the method of assembly has improved the appearance and fit of the side panels which has in turn improved the alignment of the finely-printed lining across these and the cabsides between. The silver printing of the cab side window frames is also noticeably tidier than the earlier models. Very happy to have added this to my industrial locomotive fleet!
