Happy to find this! Big fan of the movie and never even knew there WAS a soundtrack. Be prepared that this is NOT a David Bowie album. The music is by John Phillips (yes, Mamas and Papas) and Japanese musician Stomu Yamash'ta. The juxtaposition of the two styles works very well! John has the Americana sound happening and Stomu's work is more of the ambient/soundtrack style. Packaging is beautiful...very well done. The vinyl mastering is excellent and the pressing quality is very good...a few pops and clicks here and there on my copy. Recommended even if it's just to add to your 'Bowie' collection.
