Zoey 101 is a hip, stylish, live action comedy starring Jamie Lynn Spears. Pacific Coast Academy, an elite all boys' boarding school is accepting female students for the first time since the school was established in 1923. Zoey Brooks (Jamie Lynn Spears), an independent and outgoing 13 year old is a member of the school's first female class. Zoey is excited about being on her own and tackles, with humour and style, all the challenges that come her way: fitting in, being away from home for the first time, roommates, making the all boys basketball team, etc. Zoey has an ally in her younger brother, Dustin, (also attends PCA) who helps Zoey in dealing with those PCA boys who are not thrilled with the school's decision to accept girls. Zoey 101, shot on location at Pepperdine University in Malibu, deals with crushes, kisses, friendships and girls adjusting to a formerly all boys school. It also tackles being away from parents for the first time and making decisions on your own.
