The signal strength of the Multy is rubbish. I connected it to my Zyxel router by RJ45 cable and placed it in the next room to extend my WiFi, but it's signal was still weaker than the router which was further away, so completely pointless. The item was in great condition but was not technically new as the box had been opened and taped shut
