Marvellous production from 1983 . I read the novel a long time ago but knew the gist of the story; the fact that producer Barry Letts & his team ironed this out in 11 episodes is very faithful. Timothy Dalton & Zelah Clarke are superb in their roles .even though it's dated by today's Standards i(e the old technique they used to record this - combining Video for studio bound scenes & Film for outdoor locations ) , it doesn't mar the effort thats gone into a worthy production.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
