The design is completely impractical. The handle should be a welded handle. The included handle can't stay in place. The stars which are to puncture the soil are way too dull to penetrate. the foot pedal is very awkward so that you have to stand on one foot and move the stars back and forth with the other foot while trying to hold two handles, one of which is wobbling all over the place. Buy a Garden Weasel and see the difference.

Seed Stitcher Pro - best garden tool I've ever purchased
This Stitcher is one of the best garden tools I've ever purchased. It's not cheap but made of real quality materials. I have seeded a few area on my lawn with the stitcher and it has produced great results (ie. many seeds get deeper into soil leading to more seeds germinating quickly.
