When my son's buoyancy compensator inflator valve cracked, I thought it was going to the trash. I had just purchased a "new/ old stock item that would have cost over $300 new, and could not afford to replace it anytime soon. I found Scuba-fix online and decided to do some research. I called a parts supplier in Florida, and he said the scuba-fix was the only option. I went to their Facebook page to learn more. I sent a chat question about my repair, and they replied immediately, with a "you can fix that no problem" I ordered the right part, and when it arrived prepped the surface according to the video instructions. And a few minutes later, it was done. The glue requires 18 hours to dry properly. I assembled the inflator after about 20 hours, and the repair was perfect, no leaks, and the valve is stronger than many of the original manufacturers parts (much stronger) I highly recommend this fix for any buoyancy compensator or back bladder that you are not ready to trash
