Not bad...
I received my order earlier than expected. I live on the 3rd floor of an apartment building in the suburbs of NYC. It was easy to assemble and position. I placed it on the window facing SouthEast as suggested, and found that I have to reposition it at least 3 times, depending on the time of day to get clear reception. Is it worth it? Absolutely! Compared to the escalating cable bill ?!? It's a no brainer.....Downside? Does not receive the channels ME, ABC, CW, and 13-PBS. Will continue my search for a stronger antenna or an addition that will make the present one receive weaker signals.....By the way I am a sixty year old disabled female, if I can do this anyone can!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

It works well

The Best
1st review of this type, I've done. I have to tell you I reluctantly installed this item using clear package tape, on the window eye hieght in the direction of our Metro area towers, Without the amplifier, got 43 High definition local channels.(Clear as any BASIC pay cable). better than expected
I got this for a location that while really close to the TV transmitter antennas, less than 2 miles, being on a low floor behind taller buildings made reception spotty. I had tried three other , amplified and unamplified, antennas and they were not so great. Channels would come and go. I too a chance on this antenna because it had lots of good reviews and was easy to position. Now that i have had it for a few weeks and used it for a while I am really happy. Good but not 5 stars
Good product, brings in most local stations but not consistently throughout the day. Also found that putting the antenna flat against the window reduced the number of signals received. One of the best indoor antennas
No indoor antenna is perfect, but the Clearstream Eclipse is one of the best. All indoor antennas will be sensitive to location and even touch. Some stations will be harder to pull in than others. However the Eclipse does a great job of pulling in both UHF and VHF channels. The "sure Grip" tacky surface is great for placing on a window (where you'll probably get the best reception), or simply behind the TV. The amplified feature is one you have to experiment with for your situation. Sometimes the antenna works better without it, other times it is a huge help. The issue being that reception in an individual thing, There are so many variables, so you need to experiment for what works best for you. In summary, this antenna works much better than others that I've tried. I think its visual appeal is much better than many out there also.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Ineffective
We are in a private home, less than 15 miles from transmission towers, tried this antenna in multiple locations on TVs in two seperate rooms, got mediocre reception in all cases.
