This book is full of hope
This book deals with the hard-hitting effects of living around alcoholism and what the contributors did to ameliorate their circumstances, based on what they'd learned in their Al-Anon program. The stories are divided by how they relate to the 12 Steps and how each step was vital in their healing. Very inspiring. The effect of living with alcoholism is no joke - it can cause all kinds of delayed development, denial, mistreatment of ourselves and others, trauma, confusion, and self-sabotaging tendencies.
