I'm a huge Dremel fan, but this is one product I hadn't used before. These abrasive buffs benefit from the SpeedClic system, so they can be quickly & easily attached to & detached from the arbor. I used them to clean up the handle attachment post on one of my saucepans, which was covered in rust & glue. It ate through the crud quickly, leaving a nicely polished metal surface behind. My only slight issue is that the buff gets used up quite quickly, especially if you are working on sharp edges- but they are not too expensive, so it's worth it for the finish you get. The buffs come in three grit sizes, 180 (coarse) 280 (medium) and 320 (fine). The coarse buffs are brown, but both the medium & fine ones are purple, so it's impossible to tell them apart! Recently, I've been polishing a lot of coins with this system, and the coarse buffs are great for removing stubborn corrosion & dirt. The medium & fine ones give a lovely satin sheen to the metal, whilst being gentle on it. To be honest, though, I can't see any difference in finish between the medium & fine buffs! Read full review
