Not a miracle cure
Got a TRD device rather than the jaw displacement style to avoid possible pain. It kinda works. If I get it attached to my tongue just right, it does pretty good. I have, however, woke up with sore spots on my gums. Don't know how that happens as it is very soft and pliable. My wife says I am a powerful mouth breather and she comments that this has tamed that pretty well. However, I have woke numerous times with only half of the device still in my mouth. A couple times I've woke up and found it elsewhere in the bed. I think it helps, but it's not a miracle cure. I ordered this one since it said "Made in USA" but let's say I'm skeptical. No identification of the manufacturer or their location. No instructions of any kind. Even the poorly translated Chinese style. Hopefully I'm not slowly ingesting toxic chemicals. No pain or discomfort. Works great !
I had tried a couple of products before I found this one, which made my jaw and gums sore or dried out my nose and was uncomfortable. This one rests on the front of your teeth and lightly suctions your tongue forward. VERY comfortable!! It hasn't stopped the snoring completely, however I am not as loud, it has controlled the amount of snoring and my fiance can now sleep without having to nudge me every 20 minutes.
