I was looking for an oil That matched the specification for my engine, which is a VW Tiguan with a dpf filter. VW recommend an oil with a 507 number which this oil has. The main thing is it has to be a low Sulpher oil so that there is a reduction in soot produced to help the DPF fiter to regene and burn the soot away.
