Great Upgrade
I read the reviews, checked other quad rails and thought about why I was in need of this. I simply needed a quad rail to allow me to mount my flashlight, bi-pod,and forward grip on my Ruger AR 556. Nothing fancy, but functional. This 6.7 in quad rail fit the bill. The price was incredible as well. I was a little concerned at first due to the fact the quad rail is oval compared to my stock hand guard which is round. Turns out that's a non-issue. It took my about 1 minute to remove my old one and install this one. It is a nice solid fit. My only advice is to take some time and be sure to tighten all four screws equally. Half turn for each screw at a time to ensure the gap between the 2 rails is equal when it's all tightened up. Overall this feels stout and strong. Fits my Ruger AR 556 perfectly. Some reviews mentioned some rough edges, but mine seems smooth and comfortable to grip. For the price and function, you can't go wrong. Well worth it.

This will fit a Ruger AR 556 you need to take your time installing it and make sure you tighten the screws in a sequence to avoid getting a gap on one side, once you get it on right the delta ring will go right over it and tighten up. It is good quality, all aluminum, and should work great for morning bipods, lights, and lasers to your AR. Optics are meant to be installed on the receiver especially if you don't have a free float rail, so I wouldn't recommend installing optics on this rail. It can't be beat for the price, and will keep my rifle looking cool until I can I can afford a nice 12" free float rail.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great rail
The rails are great and go on easy. I put blue loctite on the four screws that secure it. Very secure fit. The rail covers are a soft rubber and feel nice but would probably come off easy in a tactical situation.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Easy Install

A lot of AR part for the money.
I had my misgivings about purchasing a quad rail hand guard for under $20. But for the price I figured it was worth a try. And it was definitely worth it. The term "drop in replacement" gets overused quite a bit now days, but this is definitely a drop in replacement. Great Aluminum Hand guard
