these couplings are the original couplings fitted to wrenn and Hornby dublo railway locos they are easy to fit,the old ones date from the late 1950s and do tend to break very easy you can either press the old holding pin out or make up your own new ones in the lathe ,you can still find some of the old 1940s metal ones on line but they are getting harder to find now,for the price of the new plastic ones the are a bargain and I a well pleased and will purchase some more as I have already used this lot up

Replacement buckeye couplings for Hornby Dublo trains or converting some Wrenn items. In most cases, apart from some instances of breakaways, they are easier to use and are better than those awkward Triang-designed tension and locks.

Although quite "chunky" and out of scale when compared to newer offerings like Kaydees, these are the best to use for your Hornby Dublo wagons, giving better "grab" between them and locos.
