This disjointed version of the original 1961 classic 'Greyfriars's Bobby' is not nearly as enjoyable or, engaging as its predecessor. I know both versions take liberty with the real story, I found this hard to follow and ho hum boring in most cases, though the dog, not the correct one as in the first film, apparently very endearing. I can imagine how yawn worthy this would be for children if an adult found it difficult to follow the storyline and sort out who's who! Also the acting is not as professional in some cases, and character development is scant, so we don't care about the characters. Shame, as it's a wasted opportunity! Stick with the original for a film you could enjoy again and again...
