If you loved the first Merlin movie as I did..then DONT waste your cash on buying this piece of pap..!! The first film with Sam Neil and Miranda Richardson was a fabulously crafted adventure ..truly magical in scope and sheer enchanting family entertainment.. this second film also has Sam and Miranda appearing from the original cast..but the resemblance ends there..there is no mention of Queen Mab or her helper Flik..Miranda is apparently now The Lady Of The Lake..and Merlin's enemy..!!Also no mention of Merlin's lover Nimue or the earlier battle that led to the death of Arthur and Mordred...the new "storyline" has simply written them all out...!! After watching this poorly scripted, badly acted tripe..I knew I could never sit through it again so I just binned it with the rest of the rubbish..!!Read full review
a great follow on from the first merlin film as long as you forget how the last one ended. the script is simple and very easy to follow. my children whom or 6,7 to 19 all enjoyed it or as a critic would say a brilliant family film still set in the age of camalot but now with king arther gone what will happen to camalot.a battle of magic and the brawn of medeviel fighting.so wands at the ready and swords at dawn sit back and enjoy
good
