Original YETI, sturdy, high quality
The YETI Rambler bottle 36 oz is amazing. It's a high quality bottle, it feels high quality and sturdy. I've been seen other brand imitating YETI tumblers and bottles, some people say they're the same, some said they're not. I don't have the other brands but I can assure you that you can go wrong with this brand, it's all they promise. We left the bottle with water inside the car under the sun (for around 4 hours) during a baseball game at noon in Texas. When we get back the bottle was hot outside, you still can grab it but it felt hot as when you left metal under direct sunlight but the water inside was still fresh, we were really impressed. The cap is plastic but it's by no means cheap, it's a sturdy cap, if you drop it the bottle will be fine, the cap my get some scratches but I don't believe it will break easily. One of the reason I bought the YETI brand and no the other brands is because I don't like to buy knock offs, even if they "are the same" I think imitation/copying is a cheap and dishonest way of doing business even if it's legal. I appreciate not only the product but also the people that took the time to think through all the details to build this product. Best travel mug ever in the history of the world!
I filled this with ice early in the morning and went golfing all day in the az heat of 104 degrees. I had it in the back of my cart in the direct sunlight allllll day and kept refilling it with water every other hole usually. Had ice cold water all day and the ice stayed for at least 48 hours. Your drink will stay cold for over 8 hours is my longest stretch. I've left drinks overnight and it's still relatively cold. Even sitting in the car when it's hot out, it stays chilled. My husband loves it!
He works in a hot machine shot with temps in the 125 degrees in the summer times. Ice melts in minutes in standard and other water bottle bottles. He got so excited when he tried the yetI. It stays cold the entire day even through refilling in the water fountains. The ice may melt a little but waters stay so cold. What a Yeti!!!
On the day I received this 30oz Yeti Rambler I just had to try it. I washed it and put 3/4 ice and filled it with tea that was at room temperature. Six hours later it was still full of ice. I filled it with a little more tea and then went to bed. I woke up the next morning to get ready for church and the ice and tea were still there. Amazing and impressive! It is now 1 p.m. Sunday and the ice is still in the mug. That's almost 24 hours of not having to refill the mug with more ice.
