Cannot Recommend This Box
This box has given me nothing but trouble it will only connect to my TV using a scart lead as it will not pick up the HDMI lead even if my TV Channel HDMI Ext is selected. The scart lead then causes me issues like having no colour, no sound and to get the box on and off I have to take the scart lead in and out of it's socket to re-boot the digital box. It is very temperamental and for some reason since I have had this box my TV will turn off randomly for no good reason whilst I am watching it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Bush Digital TV Recorder
Arrived very quickly and well packaged. Relatively easy to set up, but I was also connecting a DVD player. Takes a while to set everything up to personal settings but, following on screen instructions, as well as those in the user guide,it didn't take too long. Just time afterwards finding out how to save, find programmes, etc. Have bought this as I have cancelled my Sky contract, so saving £54 a month, which is more than I paid for the Bush recorder! The Real Deal
This product is probally the best DTR I`ve ever had and I`ve tried Thomson, Dion and Goodmans before. It`s a great little machine that does everything I need it to do. A nice easy to use remote and easy to navigate EPG. A handy feature being able to skip 2 minutes or 30 seconds forwards/ backwards. I can even record 2 channels at the same time and watch any other channel which I am not sure you should be able to do (I`ve not been able before). Good value for the money
A great little unit. The screen quality is also better than the box we had before. If it had one slight downside, that would be the handset. The buttons could have been designed better. The up/down control for example, is 2/3rd of he way down, which means you have to move your hand every time you use it. Also there is a row of buttons above the the number buttons at the top,which are easy to press by mistake after years of other handsets. Small but mighty
This freeview box is small but it's amazing. Compared to my last one which was a bigger box and ended up being very laboured in doing the job you wanted. This box is ultra fast and easy to use, also very cheap compared to others on the market. Haven't used the usb port as of yet but will get around to it someday. Very compact but packs a punch. Good performer - easy to use
This small box has a very easy to use EPG and performs well. recordings are a breeze to set up and playback quality is excellent. Very happy with this Freeview box. Don't expect too much of the internet connected portion of the functions as there is not a lot there although BBC iPlayer is there, there appears to be no way to record from it to the box in the same way that you can for any Freeview channel.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Initial reaction.
Took a little time to get my head round the set up, but then it was fairly quick. Plain and simple, good value and east to install

Great for recording programmes
I bought this as my video recorder stopped working. It is great for storing programmes but I did need a technician to set it up and show me how it worked. Did have some teething problems with it but it seems to be working okay now.
