As far as I can tell, you cannot repair pitting
This product likely works if you drill out your pitting or if you have a crack or chip that is big enough. I tried it using several repair methods on my windshield that is covered in hundreds of tiny pits and this didn't work on a single one, not even the larger ones. This type of stuff works well to finish a spider crack or larger crack/chip but if your windshield is pitted, just replace it, don't waste the money. (the pitting is difficult to see so there is a polishing compound on the windshield in the picture)
