Can't think of anything definitively negative to say about the q12's
I've had the q12's for a few days now, and can quite happily say that they live up to the description provided. I have remarkably small ears, (95% of earbuds don't stay in at all) so, to find a pair of earphones that hold on tight is quite refreshing. I tried on all the buds and wings provided while figuring out how to position them in my ears, and found the smallest of both to be most suitable. I found the trick with these particular earphones is not to focus on getting the bud further and tighter into your ear (doesn't work), but sitting the wing in such a position as to allow them to push against (the wings are quite soft and flexible, so this doesn't cause discomfort) your outer ear canal (unsure of proper term). As the provided booklet says, make sure the wing is flush with your ear. Once paired for the first time, Bluetooth connection is almost instantaneous. Although, while going for a walk yesterday, there seemed to be very occasional audio interference. Unsure of what could have caused this as my phone was only in my pocket. Haven't experienced this since. All controls work as intended (volume, pause/play, next/last song). My only gripes design-wise is how far out the earphones stick from my ears while wearing. (I'm not alone here either, this looks the same for everyone) It does look rather odd. Secondly, the control piece is located much further to the right earphone, rather than the centre of the wire. I imagine this is for convenience of reach, but I would have preferred it exactly in the centre, as the weight of the button panel tends to pull the earphones in one direction while running/walking. (although, clips are provided to shorten and tighten the cable, I would still prefer the panel located centrally). The buds hold in fine for running and walking, I'm not so sure about more intense activities, but they do the trick for me. The magnet/necklace feature was a selling point too; often comes in handy. (although the magnets could do with being a little stronger) Lastly, and most importantly, they sound great. They get surprisingly loud without sacrificing audio quality, and pump out a respectable amount of bass. If you're looking to grab a high quality pair of Bluetooth earbuds fit for exercising while saving a few bucks by resisting the bigger brands, look no further. Battery life is too weak
The reason why I bought this item was to use it on a street to follow GPS.The quality of sound is enough to leasten to music it could make it a better dinamic sound as this days there are a lot options we have in a market.The battery is so annoying.It doesn't even play for 2hrs for a full charged battery life. Best ever earphones!
Now I've searched and searched for good quality earphones and just can't get in ear buds to fit properly. I have very small ears and they just fall put constantly when I do anything. I wanted the freedom from having Bluetooth connectivity and the fit which meant I could have a work out without then falling out. These Peats are amazing. I've tried so many. Hook over ear, dufferent size and shape of buds, even ones that you can tighten around the ear! Some were okay but these soundsPEATS are perfect. Inside the box you get 3 dufferent sized buds and inner ear hooks. The controls are easy to use. Pairing with your device is effortless. Sound quality is great. Jaybird beater
