    Poor script let’s the actor down

    More like Michael Cain as a jobbing actor, going through the motions. No thanks to a terrible script. You need to see films like this to really appreciate Michael Cain’s excellent acting ability in other, more demanding/complex roles, which bring out the very best in him!!
