Complete collection of the fifth series. Richard Wilson plays the rambling suburban philosopher Victor Meldrew, who, with melancholic ease, rages against his friends, neighbours and life. Annette Crosbie plays his long suffering wife, Margaret. In this series, Victor takes revenge on an incompetant locksmith. Episodes are: 'The Man Who Blew Away'; 'Only a Story'; 'The Affair of the Hollow Lady'; 'Rearranging the Dust'; 'Hole in the Sky'; and 'The Exterminating Angel'.Synopsis Richard Wilson plays Victor Meldrew, a irascible senior citizen who always provokes people into taking extreme action against him. His neighbour - Angus Deayton (Have I Got News For You, KYTV) - wages unofficial war against him, while long-suffering wives (Annette Crosbie and Janine Duvitski) look on askance.
