Racing Gears Advance takes sports car street racing and adds kart-style combat and power-ups. From a high, isometric perspective, players guide their chosen carriage through one of 25 winding tracks, set in such locations as suburban neighborhoods or rural back roads and featuring seasonal weather conditions that affect car handling as well as the area's appearance. Most tracks feature hidden shortcuts, which can offer considerable advantages to players willing to make the occasional "leap of faith" to seek them out.<br><br>Players choose to race as one of 12 exaggerated, anime-style characters, each designed with distinct abilities and a uniquely equipped, brand-name automobile. Vehicles can be upgraded and customized using money won by winning races. Players may also unlock up to eight weapons for use in the races, including oil slicks, mines, and smoke screens, as well as rockets, missiles, and flame throwers. The game also has an automatic feature which saves the career progress of each character individually. Up to four properly equipped GBA gamers can race against one another through a link cable connection.

I had a gameboy as a kid and I came across some gameplay of racing gears and instantly remembered that was one of my favorite games for the GBA :D so I got one as soon as I could after buying a GBA and it’s still amazing today! :)
