Old fashioned vaccuuming
I like the sturdy feel of this hand-vac, kind of like the large-size Electrolux I bought in 1969 and used for 25 years before it gave up the ghost! The bag is easy to remove but a little difficult to snap back into place at times. I'd still rather deal with this hand-vac than either of the two cheaply made ones I've bought over the years that 1) didn't pick up dirt well and 2) broke down after a month. Unhappy about broken switch
The vacuum itself is wonderful. This type of hand held vacuum is the best. The switch doesn't work, however. It will only run if you hold the switch down the entire time. I would like to have known that it was broken before I purchased it. I am going to have to pay more to have it replaced and that doesn't make me happy. It's why the three rating. Great vacuum for the price!

Vacuum was not working at all when received.
I was told vacuum needed a sensor to work. She said I could get it from E bay for about $13.99. Well to make long story short, I went to Electrolux dealer and repair store,and he said it would cost $69.00 to fix. He had to take whole machine apart to fix it . I got taken. Noisy sounds like it's going to break down when shutting off
