  • Hands down best SLR

Fully mechanical yet doesn't scimp out on any features. Has a light meter when you need it but if the battery dies you still have a fully operational camera. Pretty similar to the Nikon FM2/FM2n but with AE lock as well. Also of course has a metal shutter. Has the best features from the FM2 and FE combined. Literally the perfect SLR.

  • Great shape! Classic Camera.

Sorry for the delay in my response. I got the flue and it got me out of action for a few days. Yesterday I could finally grab the camera. I have not been able to fully test it. But everything seems to be working, specially the light meter which I it seems to be working fine, and kind of surprise by how responsive it is. The full test will come once I take the first set of picture, which I hope to do next week. Thanks!

  • Enjoying this camera

I am happy with the purchase. Camera works as advertised. It is easy to drain the battery if you are not careful with turning the meter "off." The exposure adapter, whatever it is called, is useful. The existing metering is a little light creating underexposed film. I have been using the adapter at +1.5 to get correct exposure. Fun to shoot with film.

  • Superb camera

Reputedly the best (and last) manual film camera from Nikon. The model sent me from Japan looks like it has never been used.

  • Very sturdy reliable camera

I was looking for a manual camara with auto-exposure feature. These manual cameras are built to last. Really enjoy it.

  • FM3a? Or FE3m?

The camera inherits every aspects from FE2 but not FM2. 😃 It is a wonderful camera, grab one if you still enjoy shooting film.

  • My favorite 35mm camera’s

The Nikon FM3A is by far the best 35mm camera I have ever used. The light meter is very accurate and the possibility of an 4K shutter makes it possible to shot with an open aperture og heigh ISO in bright daylight. It’s also a light and well built camera

  • Stunning!!!

I can only tell you about the physical attributes of my Nikon FM3 A right now because I haven’t had the chance to use it yet. Without a doubt the images will be beautiful. It is perfect!!! The camera has no dust at all, like new. The meter works, no scratches either. I’m excited to give it a go this coming weekend. This will be the camera in my bag all the time.

  • Great mechanical/electronic camera

It’s my favorite film camera, one that works whether you have batteries installed or not. Very light, yet tough and reliable. Had mine for 10 years and nothing’s ever gone wrong. Just bought another as a spare because there’s just no other alternative!

  • Looks great!

I haven’t had time to really use this yet or get any film developed through it but so far so good! It looks great and seems to work just fine. So far it is as promised!!!
