Excellent recording qualities
I love Panasonic DVD recorders, especially this one, due to the flex-mode recording option. You can fill up a blank DVD with the material you are burning so it burns it in the very best possible quality. Instead of using XP (1 hour) or SP (2 hour) modes, which leave you with leftover empty space on the DVD, flex-mode uses the entire DVD by spreading the data out providing the better quality. For example, if you have material that is 1:38 in length, you set it for 1:38 instead of using SP, and you won't have 22 minutes of empty space left of the DVD. By using the entire DVD, you improve your quality. I've owned probably about 10 of these units, but I burn more material than most people ever would.
