Good product. Have to be careful and scrutinize the counter when rewinding and fast forwarding, because it moves fast. Hitting the right mark on the counter track can be a little tricky, but it is manageable. Not sure!
Well I purchased this VHS/DVD player for a friend. And as of right now I was told the DVD plays fine, but that's not the case with the VHS. When they put a VHS movie in the player, the player shoots it right back out. So they want to use a VHS cleaning tape to clean the heads to see if that fixes it, before they want me to send it back. Look before you jump
this item is designed like the were in the 80's but this one does not work like it was designed to. the dvd side will not play my sore bought dvds. only my music one and at that you when you mess with the remote you have to do this for a long time and you may get results and then you go to try to get what you want by going to the machine to work it by hand it still does works. I'm of the age even doing the 8 track. and in my house I have 3 surround sound systems in my house so I know how the are surpose to work. It showed up packaged very well with absolutely no dents, tears or signs of damage to the packaging during shipping. When I got it out of the two boxes and bubble wrap it was shipped in the machine made a loud rattling sound. I turned it on its side and three internal pieces of the machined came out thru the VHS slot. Without a doubt it was not "tested" as claimed before shipping. Something that isn't made anymore...
