ALL IN ONE CONVRNIENCE
It has the "one stop shop" of having a VHS, DVD and hard drive in one unit. No need to "stackem, packem and rackmt". Interaction, such as setting the timer is enhanced, allowing the different drives to work together,as well as recording from drive to drive.The HDMI upconversion improves picture quality a significant amount until the full HDMI was available. Good for my video transfers lab here in SLC UT..
Hard to use but good quality..I recommend using a line isolation transforner to keep the power supply, and logic from failing. Otherwise it's an essential item for my business.. the settings are a secret trick that I've learned to use the silent high speed disc burning mode and only use non glossy (,matte,,,) Titan or equal discs .
